What’s New 🎁

• RTE: you can now style a list's bullets and numbers. Put your cursor in a list and use the new palette button to set the marker's color and size. A marker color you pick stays put when you change the text color, and it carries over when you switch a list between bulleted and numbered.

What’s Fixed 🛠️

• RTE: the font picker sometimes named a font your text wasn't actually using. Now it shows "Select Font" when it can't tell what the font is.
• PDF Export: various fixes
• Custom list numbering: opening or closing a numbered list's block sidebar in Rise switched your custom numbering back to Rise's default until you reloaded. Your numbering now stays.
• Find & Replace: tab and accordion titles containing characters like & didn't show up in searches, and replacing & could garble the title. Both now work.
• Mighty Assistant: the assistant button covered the selection bar in Rise's Manage Blocks and Comments panels. It now moves aside when those panels open.

What’s New 🎁

• Connected Packages: Mighty courses now work with Rise’s Connected package export. Upload the package to your LMS once. After that, when you republish in Rise, learners see the latest version of your course, including your Mighty blocks and Studio templates, with no new upload. You only need a new zip on your first publish or if you change SCORM versions. The package reports to your LMS the same way Rise’s own package does: completion, the quiz or Storyline block you track by, scores, answers and where the learner left off. Rise’s “Notify learners” and “Reset learner progress” options on an update work as expected. If your LMS still has a connected package that Rise built, the export screen will remind you to replace it with Mighty’s. Connected packages support SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004.
• PDF Export: Exporting a PDF from Rise now includes your Mighty blocks, which used to print as placeholders. Mighty builds the PDF for you right from Rise’s export screen. Each lesson prints the way it looks on screen. Content that’s normally hidden is printed below it so nothing is lost. Studio templates print as they first appear in the course, followed by their text. The finished PDF has a bookmark for each lesson, so it’s easy to navigate or hand to a reviewer.
• Studio Templates: asset inputs can now hold the accessibility details that go with a file: alt text for images, a poster and captions for videos, and a transcript for audio. Add supports to an asset input to choose which of these your template shows, for example supports: ['altText', 'captions']

What’s Fixed 🛠️

• Authoring: clicking the edit button on a Mighty block left Rise’s “Content” tooltip floating on top of the block editor. It now closes when the editor opens.
• Connected Packages: when a connected course finished inside an LMS, the goodbye message was always in English, even for a Dutch or Spanish course. It now uses the course’s own goodbye text from Course settings → Labels, in the course’s language. Courses already in an LMS pick this up without re-exporting. English courses now end on Rise’s default “👋 Bye! You may now leave this page.” instead of “Great job!”.

• Microlearning Publishing: When publishing for Microlearning, some authors were experiencing the “Something went wrong” message when publishing for LMS. This is now resolved and publishing for LMS works consistently again.
• Transition masking: In Microlearning, there was an issue where the Transition block would get shifted a little when masking an image, making the image look distorted. This was due to a scroll bar rendering after the fact, which is now being accounted for!
• Logging out consistency: When logging out from the assistant within Rise, it would sometimes inconsistently log you out all the way. Now it should completely log you out.

• Reverse Hotspot feedback: The Feedback message wasn’t staying contained within the Hotspot image, therefore was getting cut off on various screen sizes. This should now all stay contained within the image.
• Various block widths: There was an issue with Mighty transitions, Image & Text mod, and Button layout mod when using the medium content width and having the navigation menu open causing some misalignment at various browser widths.
• Rise Math Equations: We now support the Rise Math functionality to stick around when using the Mighty RTE. For now, you will need to turn off our RTE to build the Math Equations but then turning our RTE back on will keep those functions.

• Reverse hotspot fix: We moving around Reverse Hotspots, you would often get a “Something went wrong” message due to our system rapidly making updates. We now delay those updates a little bit in order to give Rise time to process.
• Adding blocks: After you added a Mighty block to your lesson, it would make all your subsequent Mighty blocks you add get pushed to the bottom of the lesson. This is now fixed!

• Duplicating Blocks issue: When duplicating a Mighty block, it would add it twice 👯. Once in the current location and once at the end of your course. This is now resolved!

• Performance boost: Major foundational changes to how Mighty loads in when you are authoring your course to help with performance on larger courses. 📈 You will now briefly see some Mighty loaders as we load in our Mighty Blocks so that we can let Rise fully load before we add the modifications on top. This is only visible while authoring and preview. Once you publish, everything will load in immediately so the learner has a smooth experience.
• Video thumbnail mod: You can now replace the default thumbnail image that Rise creates for your video with a custom thumbnail 🎉, using the new Video Thumbnail mod
• Video border radius mod: As we continue to allow you to round off those sharp edges of Rise, you can now give your videos a sleeker look as you soften the corners with the border radius mod.

• New UI: We overhauled a lot of our UI throughout Mighty to start to move towards a new standard that we think you will enjoy. It’s subtle but very polished.
• Hide video controls mod: We added a new mod which allows you to hide the video control bar on a video. In combination with Autoplay, this is a VERY nice touch.
• Crop image as circle: With the Image & Text mod, not only can you add boarder radius to your image, you can now clip it to a circle! See if you can spot the fun icon to make that change.
• Manual inputs: For a lot of our UI, we had sliders for various number inputs, but with the new UI, we also allow you to manually enter the value.

• Mighty RTE Mods 🎉: We have officially been able to bring back all of your beloved Rich text mods (Line height, letter spacing, font control, font size, code view). This was a huge undertaking for us to swap in a Mighty-controlled RTE. Right now, it looks like the old Froala editor, but we are working on a brand new editor that will have tons of great features that have been missing for years. More to come, stay tuned!
• Microlearning inherit colors: Microlearning recently had a change that broke our ability to detect inherit colors for background gradients and transitions. We have a fix in place to auto-detect those again. Mostly just impacted the continuous navigation style!
• Reflection language support: We can now detect and support the Japanese languages in our PDF output.
• Mighty block teaser: Updated our block teaser to match the responsive styling that Rise introduced.
• Block placeholders: Updated the placeholder style that we use for Mighty blocks to match what Rise’s default RTE can handle.
• Random missing data: There was an edge case that could cause a lot of your Mighty work to not save after an error—that has now been accounted for and resolved.
• Color picker: We re-added the color picker to the native Rise RTE!
• Transition block inherit color: We removed the random grey colors that show when you drop a transition block between blocks with the same color. This was a confusion decision we made early on and decided to go back on that decision.
• Issue with Review items dropdown: When creating a review link for a non-Mighty course, the list of Review items to override was inaccurate. We flipped this back so it loads all your Rise review items again.

• Hide Scenario Character Mod: Have you ever used the Scenario block and just never really resonated with the characters and wished you could turn them off? Well now you can!
• Numbered Divider Reset Mod: Sometimes you want to use sets of numbered dividers within your lesson and have them start back at one. With this new mod, you can now reset your numbers back to one with the click of a toggle.
• Publishing to Review: If you were worried about using Mighty for your course and having to require others to “deal with Mighty” during review, you can drop all fears! Now, when you publish to Review 360, the reviewers will not see anything Mighty related. It will feel just as if you published a course like normal!
• Portal Updates: We have also created some nice changes on the portal so you can quickly find the Help Center articles.
