Sequential Explorer with Cloze Knowledge Check

A two-panel interactive for guiding learners through a series of content stops in a set sequence. The left panel shows a numbered navigation list — learners must complete each stop before the next unlocks. Clicking a stop loads its content into the right panel, where they can read, and optionally highlight text to save key phrases as personal notes. Once a learner has read a stop, they click a full-width action button to mark it as explored and move on. After all stops are completed, a cloze activity opens automatically in the right panel. Learners complete a summary paragraph by selecting blanks and choosing the correct word from a shuffled word bank. An Expert mode toggle removes the word bank entirely, requiring learners to type their answers from memory. Correct answers lock in place; wrong answers shake and reset for another attempt. Progress is tracked with a score counter. Completing all blanks correctly triggers a completion screen. All content is fully configurable in Mighty Studio: stop titles, subtitles, and body text (rich text supported); cloze blank answers and distractors; the button label; accent colour (three options); and completion message. The interactive works out of the box with default NZ election content and can be repurposed for any sequential topic.
