Swipe to Sort

A swipe card deck that asks learners to sort each card into one of two buckets. Learners swipe, tap, or use arrow keys, then see feedback after each card and a tally at the end. You add the cards, bucket labels and feedback.

About this template

In the creator's words, from Tim Slade.

A swipe-to-categorize card deck with two buckets, instant per-card feedback, and a tally screen. Swipe, tap, or use arrow keys — ideal for "which is it?" judgment practice.

Learners choose a bucket for each card

Each card presents one judgment. Learners send it to one of two buckets by swiping, tapping, or using arrow keys. They see feedback right away, then continue through the deck.

The activity ends on a tally screen, so learners can see how they did across the deck.

Fill in two buckets and card feedback

Use this when learners need to recognize which category an item fits. Add each card you want learners to judge. Then add the two bucket labels and feedback for each card.

The example shows fixed mindset and growth mindset as the two buckets. Use the same pattern when your course has two clear categories.

Pick another sorter for more categories

Pick this template when every card belongs in one of two buckets.

Pick List sorting question when learners need one or more lists, or when the task is putting items in the correct order.

Pick Knowledge Checks (Matching) when learners need to match pairs.
