Columns

Build crisp, organized content blocks that help learners compare, scan, and absorb information without feeling overwhelmed. Columns is a versatile layout template for presenting text, images, examples, or side-by-side concepts in a responsive structure. It is especially useful for feature comparisons, step groupings, benefits, definitions, and course summaries where strong visual organization can make dense learning content easier to understand.

Learners see content arranged in columns. They read across the block to compare related points, scan examples, or review grouped information.

Each column can show text, an image, or both. If you use the card preset, the items appear with card styling.

For each column, add the content learners should read. Add an image and alt text when the column needs one.

You can set the image size, position, and alignment for each item. You can also add or remove column items from the preset starting point.

• Four Column Text is the default preset. It starts with four items. Card styling is off, with small spacing and top alignment.
• Image and Text starts with three items and includes an image asset. Start here when each column needs an image with its copy.
• Multicard Layout starts with four items. Start here when you want card styling turned on from the start.

Use Text with floated images when you need one freeform rich text area. It lets you place images anywhere in that text.

Use Custom Card when one quote or key point should stand alone. Use Flexible Image + Text Overlap when you want layered text and images.
