Communication Choice

Communication Choice is a configurable scenario-based interaction that helps learners evaluate the effectiveness of workplace communications. Present learners with a realistic scenario and three or more alternative messages, then ask them to choose the most appropriate response. The template supports multiple communication styles, including Outlook-style email, Microsoft Teams, Slack, WhatsApp, SMS, generic messages, and AI prompts, making it suitable for a wide range of learning contexts. After submitting their choice, learners receive tailored feedback explaining why their selection was or wasn't the strongest response, followed by a key takeaway that reinforces good communication practice. How to use Choose the communication style, customise the branding, and enter the workplace scenario. Add three or more message options, marking one as the best response, then provide an explanation for each choice and an overall takeaway message. Optionally customise the message metadata (such as sender, recipient, subject, or channel) to create a realistic context. Learners review each message, select the response they believe is most effective, submit their answer, and receive immediate feedback before completing the activity.
