Interactive chart (line, area, bar)

A flexible, reusable chart for building data-driven e-learning content. Authors configure everything from a simple form — no coding required — and the chart renders cleanly inside any Rise lesson, automatically taking on the lesson's own typography.

Four chart types, one tool. Choose from line, area, grouped bars, or stacked bars. Switch types anytime without losing data or settings. Line and area charts support smooth curves or straight segments; bars automatically adapt the legend and disable options that don't apply.

Data made easy. Data is provided by import: paste from Excel, Google Sheets, or a CSV, or upload a CSV file. The chart auto-detects the separator and decimal mark, so there's nothing to reformat. Each point takes a category label, a value, and an optional alternative value shown in the tooltip.

Multiple series, your way. Add as many series as you need, each with its own legend label, colour, and point marker. Show or hide the connecting line, smooth it into a curve, and add a calculated trend line — linear, polynomial, exponential, or moving average.

Built to fit your design. Customize the title and subtitle text, set axis labels, and add a unit suffix to Y-axis values. Adjust area fill opacity, tooltip theme, decimal separator, legend position, or a transparent-friendly background colour.

Accessible by default. Includes a screen-reader label adapted to the chart type, a hidden data table equivalent, a keyboard-operable legend, live announcements of key events, and respect for reduced-motion preferences.
