A confidence slider that lets learners rate where they are and receive feedback tied to their choice. You add the scale labels and tailored feedback, then choose whether to show the slider and feedback.

About this template

In the creator's words, from Jocelyn Nadeau.

Invite learners to pause, self-assess, and connect the lesson to their own confidence level. Reflective Confidence Scale is ideal for readiness checks, coaching moments, pre- and post-training reflection, leadership development, and skill-building courses. By pairing a confidence rating with tailored feedback, this template turns reflection into a visible learning interaction that can help learners recognize growth and next steps.

Featured as Mighty's Pick of the Week—here's a quick walkthrough of why they love it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gcLKTLURa0&t=1s

Build the scale point by point

The starting layout begins with four scale points. Add or remove points to fit your rating scale.

Write a label and tailored feedback for each point. You can show or hide the slider and feedback.

Learners rate and receive feedback

Learners move the slider or pick a labeled point. The interaction pairs their rating with the feedback you wrote for that point.

Use Likert questions for question sets

Pick Responsive likert questions when you need one or more range questions with an unanswered starting state. Pick Pulse Check for a quick poll about opinion, preference or understanding.

Use Reflective Confidence Scale when every rating should lead to its own feedback.
