A customizable button that opens a resource in a focused pop-up window—formatted text and images, your own custom HTML, or an embedded PDF, Google Doc, or video. Learners get supporting material in one click without ever leaving the page.
Start with a centered HTML resource
The starting layout uses a centered button labeled “View resource.” It opens HTML content by default.
Change the label to match the resource. Pick the button alignment, then add or embed the supporting material.
Keep references beside the task
The example places an Eisenhower Matrix resource beside a multiple-choice activity. Learners can open the matrix, close it, and continue with the answer choices.
Use this pattern when learners need a job aid or reference while completing a task.
