Give a course section a real sense of arrival. Animated Section Opener turns your photography into a full-width title band with a slow, cinematic drift behind an eyebrow label, heading, and subtitle — the visual pause that tells learners a new part of the course is starting. Ideal for module intros, chapter breaks, and the space between long stretches of content, where a plain divider doesn't carry enough weight. Add a single image, or up to six that crossfade one into the next. Each image gets its own focal point so faces and subjects never get cropped out. You control the drift (a slow zoom or a pan in any direction), how long each image holds, how long the blend between them runs, and how the text arrives. The text sits in a column you can match to your lesson's own content width, so a full-bleed band still lines its heading up with the blocks above and below rather than drifting off toward the screen edge. From there, set how much of that column the text fills, where it sits, and how it aligns. For readability over busy photography, choose a solid overlay or a gradient — linear in any of eight directions or radial from five origins, with your own color and strength at each end. Finishing touches include rounded corners, a hairline rule above the heading, and a square or pill background behind the eyebrow. Heading, eyebrow, and subtitle all accept bold, italics, links, and color from the rich text editor, and can be edited straight in the block. Built to stay accessible: the heading is a genuine heading for screen readers with the eyebrow announced as part of it, image descriptions are author-supplied, only the visible image is exposed to assistive technology, and learners get a pause control whenever the band is moving. Anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion sees the first image held still, with the option to play the rest.
