Add It Up

Add It Up teaches where a cost actually sits. The author lists a few lines that make up a bigger number — each one a flat amount, or a quantity the learner sets against a rate you supply.

A stacked bar fills in as they work, and a total builds alongside it. The point is usually the shape: one line almost always dwarfs the rest, and it is rarely the one with an invoice attached.

On submit, their breakdown sits beside yours line by line, in both share and money. You choose what counts — the split, the total, or both — and where the accuracy bands fall.

Every line takes a typed figure as well as the slider, so a learner can describe an organisation nothing like the one the example was written for.

It suits any question where a total is the sum of parts people tend to underestimate.
