About this template

In the creator's words, from Mighty.

Some conversations happen across a desk or over the phone, not in a chat window, and practicing them should feel that way. This branching conversation places speech bubbles directly on your course background with no device frame or app interface around them, so learners stay focused on what's being said and how their words change where the conversation goes.

Learners move through one exchange at a time. Their chosen response glides into place, the other person's typing bubble opens up into their reply, and the next set of responses appears on the learner's side of the conversation, with soft, unhurried transitions that keep the pace feeling like a real call. Each choice leads to its own reply, so the path a learner takes shapes what they learn. When the conversation ends, a labeled feedback note explains what that ending means, and learners can expand the full conversation to read back everything that was said before trying again.

Build as many steps as your scenario needs, with up to four responses per step. Each response points to its next step from a simple menu, and the starter conversation shows how branches split and come back together. Choose from filled, outline or open bubble styles and set every color to match your course. Name labels identify each speaker so meaning never relies on color, the activity works fully with a keyboard, focus follows each new reply for screen reader users, and motion respects reduced-motion settings.
